MEET THE DESIGNER

Inheriting her sense of fashion from a stylish mother, Anxhela (Angela) Cerrik realized, at a young age, she had a passion for fashion style and design. Born in Albania, Angela travelled and lived throughout Europe where she saw the different fashions and styles of women of Europe. She moved to Ireland to study fashion and earned her Honours Degree in Fashion in 2018, from Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD).   Shortly after completing her studies, Angela launched her Original Ireland brand. Angela states, “Original Ireland is a brand that started in Ireland, with my education, and now my dedication to providing Irish women, and women of the world, with quality fashion – where they can feel, elegant, sexy, feminine and empowered. It’s not that I need to be born Irish, it’s about me paying homage to the country that made me realize my dream, as a fashion designer.” As a quality designer, Angela has earned a number of accolades and awards, including having one of her designs selected for the Limerick School of Art & Design in 2015. Angela, in collaboration, was amongst the top finalist of the ‎L'Oréal Colour Trophy in 2017.  In 2018 Angela was amongst the Top 5 Finalist of Project Young Designer, DCU Style Society. Also in 2018, speaking to her talent, her graduation collection was chosen as the showcase pieces, to be featured in newspapers and magazine, for the LSAD graduation show ‘Talent Unwrapped.’   Keeping in stride with her accolades, her designs were published in the prestigious Collection magazine, in September 2019. Through the quality and high standard of Angela’s work as a designer and her attention to her customer satisfaction, she was accredited the distinguished award of Lifestyle Leader Fashion Designer in 2020 from the All-Ireland Business All-Star. When she’s not thinking about her next collection and bringing them to life, Angela enjoys spending her free time with her family, and close friends.
